The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for assistance locating a suspect wanted for residential robbery in South Bakersfield.

According to police, on Friday, September 21, a victim walked into his residence near 700 White Lane and interrupted a theft in progress. Police say that the suspect confronted the victim and assaulted him before fleeing.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25 years old, wearing a white shirt and jeans. The suspect was riding a red and black colored tricycle.
