BPD: Man wanted for robbing a pot shop

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in obtaining information related to a robbery/attempt homicide investigation.
 
On Sunday, 1/24/2016 at about 12:30 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department responded to 1313 Niles Street, Green House Farms marijuana dispensary, for a report of a robbery.
 
Upon arrival, officers confirmed the robbery to the business and the loss was marijuana and U.S. currency.
 
It was determined during the robbery the suspect fired his weapon at a store employee prior to fleeing the business.
 
The employee did not sustain an injury during the incident.
 
The suspect involved is described as a;
 
Black male adult, early twenties, dark “dreadlock” style hair with bleached tips, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt underneath a dark colored satin jacket with a “Batman” logo on the front, faded denim pants and armed with a silver semi-auto handgun.
