BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting assistance identifying suspects responsible for identity theft and grand theft.

According to police, on Wednesday, October 17, the suspects fraudulently used the victims ID information to purchase merchandise at the Les Schwab Tires on Panama Lane.

The suspects are described as
1. Hispanic man in his 30s at 5 feet 7 inches. He weighed approximately 200 pounds and was wearing a ball cap with a black t-shirt and had a mustache and goatee.
2. Hispanic man in his 30s at 5 feet 8 inches and 165 pounds. He had black shaved hair with a mustache goatee and a white t-shirt.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call BPD at (661) 327-7111.
