Bakersfield Police arrested three suspects who drove a stolen Caterpillar tractor through The Family Dollar Store on Union Avenue and attempted to steal items.

Just after midnight on Sunday, police responded to The Family Dollar Store for a burglary alarm. Officers found three people inside the store. 

Police said the tractor was stolen in the area of South P Street and Terrace Way.

Police are looking for a fourth suspect after they determined that none of the three suspects in custody drove the tractor through the store.

There is no suspect description at this time.

All three were arrested for petty theft and issued citations.
