BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help in locating three people they say used a stolen tractor to enter and burglarize an East Bakersfield business.
According to BPD, around 5:16 a.m. on May 25, a suspect used a stolen tractor to ram a business, located in the 200 block of Sumner Street, and gain entry. BPD says the suspect entered the business briefly before fleeing in the tractor.
BPD says the tractor used was later recovered in the area.
BPD says around 1:16 p.m. the same day, three suspects were captured on video surveillance entering the business and removing loss. BPD says the suspects made entry through the door that had been forced open by the tractor.
BPD says the first suspect is described as a White or Hispanic man with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a light colored button-up with blue jeans and white tennis shoes. He was also carrying a backpack.
According to BPD, the second suspect is described as a Black man with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, black jacket, and light colored pants. He was also carrying a dark-colored backpack.
BPD says the third suspect is described as a White or Hispanic woman with medium build and her dark hair in a bun. She was last seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt with the "S" Superman logo and tan/ pink pants.
