BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Police Department wants to keep your kids safe while riding bicycles.
The BPD Traffic Section and Community Relations Unit will be hosting its annual Bike Rodeo at Silver Creek Park at 7011 Harris Road today from 5 p.m. to 7 pm.
The rodeo events will include bike inspections, maintenance, and there will be a course set up for bicycle riders to practice their safety skills.
The event is open to children of all ages.
