BPD: Two suspects arrested for alleged robbery at Ramco Express

UPDATE (Nov. 14 6:31 a.m.) The suspects from this incident pleaded not guilty and are scheduled to appear back in court on Nov. 27.

UPDATE (Nov. 13 1:44 p.m.) Starling and Porter are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 13 at 3 p.m.

UPDATE (Nov. 9 6:12 a.m.): According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office when they sent out the press release with the suspect information they incorrectly spelled one of the suspects last names.

That suspects name is William Starling, not William Sterling as previously stated.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department there was a robbery at Ramco Express located at 2222 F. Street.William Sterling, 24, and the passenger Anthony Porter, 23, entered the Ramco Express and demanded money. After they got the money, they fled on foot toward 23rd Street. 

A couple minutes later, Bakersfield Police Officers located a white vehicle with two subjects inside that fit the description, which was provided by the victim. 

They were both detained without incident, while searching the vehicle officers were able to locate a black replica pistol and loss from the robbery. 

Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail for robbery and conspiracy.
