BPD: Two men wanted for assault with a firearm

The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance identifying and locating suspects wanted for an assault with a firearm. On August 23, 2015 at about 8:50 p.m., two male adults were walking in the 400 Blk. of Eye St. when a vehicle approached them.
 
A passenger in the vehicle fired several shots at the two victims, striking both of them. The same suspect(s) and vehicle may be responsible for a business robbery that occurred at the All-Star Market at 630 Fairfax Rd. and another shooting that occurred in the area of Breckenridge Rd. and Weedpatch Hwy.
 
Both of those events occurred shortly after the Eye St. incident.
  • Suspect #1: Hispanic male, late 20’s to early 40’s, 6’0”- 6’2”, 300-350 lbs, black hair, and possible goatee
  • Suspect #2: Hispanic male, 20’s, 5’6”, 180, black hair, brown eyes, black shirt, black shorts, and white socks
  • Suspect vehicle: Early 2000’s grey Mitsubishi Mirage or Galant with hood and roof oxidation
