BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police say they've received reports of people receiving fake Shop with a Cop phone calls.
On Friday, the department tweeted an advisory about the phone scam saying,"community members [are] being asked to donate to the Shop with a Cop program via phone calls."
BPD confirmed that those phone calls are not coming from its organization or KCSO's.
