Today is the first day of breast cancer awareness month.
Adventist Health Bakersfield is partnering with Links for Life to turn their hospital campus pink.
At night, visitors will experience the pink glow of parking lot lights as well as exterior lighting at the hospital to remind people of breast cancer awareness month.
Another local business, Rush Air Sports, is partnering with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to raise money.
Rush Air Sports will donate $4 for every paid jumper in October (Monday - Thursday between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.).
