Starting at 5 p.m. on December 19, the Kern County Bring A Smile Foundation will be providing toys to children whose parents are unable to.

The response has been so large that the foundation has capped off at over 150 children. The event will be held at JC's Place at 1901 Chester Avenue in downtown Bakersfield.

The goal of Bring a Smile is to "deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate children that will encourage them in becoming responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens."

All money raised in Kern County goes to providing a great Christmas to the children of Kern County.
