A brush fire has broken out in Castaic amid a red flag warning and high wind advisory in the area.

A Los Angeles County firefighter said the brush fire broke out just before 4 a.m. The fire is located on the east side of I-5 near the Hasley Detention Center.

Water helicopters have been working to control the fire and investigators are trying to figure out what caused this fire.
