The Buzzard Fire began just before 8 a.m. Wednesday on the I-5 south near the Grapevine. CHP says the number four lane of southbound I-5 between Grapevine and Lebec is closed as crews work the scene.
Zone KRN-535 is under an evacuation warning according to Genasys Protect.
The fire is currently 50 acres and burning in the grass at a moderate rate of spread, according to Watch Duty.
