California City Police are searching for the driver of a stolen car that lead officers on a police chase through California City Friday night.

Around 10:45 p.m., officers spotted a car driving erratically near California City Blvd. and Hacienda Blvd.

The black 1994 Acura fled from police, leading them on a chase down North Loop Blvd., with speeds nearing 100 mph.

The car drove through Mobile Home Village near Campfire Drive and eventually crashed into a parked car on Morning Glory Drive.

Officers chased the driver through several backyards, but eventually lost sight of him.

The car was reported stolen a week ago.

California City Police are now looking for the suspect, believed to be a white male, around 6 ft tall, 20-25 years old, thin built and around 150 lbs.

Anyone with information is asked to contact California City Police at 760-373-8606.
