BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted in Northeast Bakersfield after being restored over the weekend.
According to Cal Water, there was a software error that caused pressure to drop in the Northeast area. Officials say that when pressure drops to a certain level, a boil notice must be issued as a precaution.
However, according to the lab results from Monday morning, water is good to drink again.
Cal Water says they will be making calls, sending messages and going door-to-door to inform the community.
