CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. — Due to low visibility on California City Boulevard, officials have announced an alternate route for the closure of Highway 14 to Boron.

Cal City PD said the alternate route is South California City Blvd to Highway 58.

Officials said the low visibility is due to high winds and dust blowing.
