High school students will get the chance to check out the many aviation careers possible in Kern County through the 2nd Annual Aviation Career Day.

The career day is hosted by the California Aeronautical University. Students from various Kern County high schools will get the chance to talk to professionals in aviation-based careers, including commercial pilots, aircraft mechanics, and flight instructors.

The event is today, November 1, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the California Aeronautical University on Boughton Drive in Oildale.
