Tax relief is available for Kern County residents impacted by the recent Erskine Fire.
The property tax relief is available for qualified properties damaged by the blaze under the California Revenue and Taxation Code and the Kern County Code of Ordinances.
The forms for relief can be obtained at the Kern County Assessor's Office at 1115 Truxtun Avenue or on the agency's website; or the Erskine Creed Fire LAC, Woodrow W. Wallace Middle School, 3240 Erskine Creek Road, Lake Isabella.
