BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Caltrans announced that the on-ramp to Highway 99 at the California Avenue loop is scheduled to reopen Wednesday.

The ramp was closed as part of the Bakersfield 99 Rehab Project, a project focused on completely resurfacing and rehabilitating Highway 99.

While Caltrans continues to work in other areas along the 99, they are encouraging drivers to be mindful of workers along the roadways and slow down while driving in Work Zones.
