A mother has been arrested by California City Police after she left her six children unattended in an apartment.

According to Cal City police, Keyarrow Wright allegedly left her children without food and went to Las Vegas. Wright was arrested for child endangerment.

The children ranged in ages from one month to 14 years old. Officers located four of the children, but the one month old and 14 year old were initially missing.

The four children were taken into custody and turned over to Child Protective Services.

During the investigation, police found out the infant had been recently dropped off at a home in Cal City in an effort to conceal that baby from law enforcement.

Officers recovered the baby in good health. The 14 year old has been intentionally avoiding officers and was entered into the National Missing Person system.

CPS has custody of the five children.
