BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Sunday, August 11th, the California City Police Department's 9-1-1 call center received calls for a house fire on the 8900 block of Manzanita Avenue around 3:18 p.m.

Both the California Fire Department and CCPD responded to the scene. Officials found one deceased victim inside the burned down home.

As of now there is no description of the victim and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
