Recently the California City Police Department received several 3-way connected calls where a male posing as IRS or Police agent is using CCPD to "confirm" the legitimacy of his "warrant".
The Department wants to remind people that Government Departments will not call you regarding debts or warrants.
Officials said that if you receive this type of call - or any other type of scam phone call - contact the Federal Trade Commission Scam Hotline at (877) 382-4357.
