California City Police holding vigil for victims of violent crimes

The California City Police Department will hold a candle light vigil for victims of violent crimes at the Arts Building located at Central Park Monday night at 7 p.m.

The California City Police Department arrested 13 people on suspected misdemeanors and four people on suspected felonies during the week of March 6 to March 12.

A total of 432 incidents were handled by Cal City Police, including 343 calls for service and 89 office-initiated incidents.

Officers wrote a total of 53 reports and issued 22 citations. Officers conducted 46 traffic stops
