CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. — The City of California City Parks and Recreation announced that the city's annual Christmas Parade, scheduled for Saturday, has been canceled.

In a Facebook post shared on Tuesday, officials said the event was canceled because a lack of entries and weather concerns.

The post also stated that the city's Holiday Village in Central park this week will still happen.
