DELANO, Calif. — The California High-Speed Rail Authority announced it is closing Garces Highway in Delano, starting Monday, between Magnolia and Scofield avenues.
The closure is scheduled to last through Friday, March 20.
Eastbound traffic on Garces Highway will be detoured south on Wildwood Road, east on Pond Avenue, north on Magnolia Avenue, then east on Garces Highway.
Westbound traffic on Garces Highway will be detoured south on Magnolia Avenue, west on Pond Avenue, north on Wildwood Road, then west on Garces Highway.
This work is part of Construction Package 4 (CP 4), the 22-mile stretch of high-speed rail between one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line and Poplar Avenue in Kern County.
