BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — At least one person is dead following a collision along Weedpatch Highway and Muller Road Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic website.

At about 8:45 p.m., a white Ford Explorer collided with a small grey sedan, the traffic page states.

It is unclear how the collision occurred.

According to the CHP website, traffic is restricted in the area.
