(KERO) — The California Highway Patrol will be out in full force Labor Day weekend.
The holiday enforcement effort begins Friday at 6 p.m. and will continue until Monday at midnight.
During last year's labor day maximum enforcement CHP arrested over 900 people for driving under the influence.
And investigated 46 fatal crashes, many involved people who were not wearing a seat belt.
