BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol will be hosting "Start Smart" classes for teen drivers and their parents.
The two-hour free class will cover safe driving habits, consequences of a poor choice behind the wheel and tips on how to avoid accidents.
The class will be on Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. at the Bakersfield CHP Office, 9855 Compagnoni Street.
