BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Starting May 18 California Highway Patrol will begin offering vehicle inspections, school and bus inspections and certifications and tow truck inspections, services previously suspended due to COVID-19 concerns.

CHP is asking that if any patrons should need these services to wear their masks when attending their appointment and if they are sick with cough or a fever to stay home.

Social distancing protocols will be enforces.
