California State University, Bakersfield will be celebrating Pride week between Monday October 9, 2017 through Thursday October 19, 2017.
In order to celebrate Pride week, CSUB is hosting a full week of events to celebrate LGBTQ.
CSUB has hosted Pride week for the second time in a row in order to help create a more welcoming, respectful and inclusive campus community for LGBTQ+ students.
Below are a list of the events that CSUB will be hosting during pride week:
• Monday, October 9 – LGBTQ+ Kickoff and Resource Fair from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Red Brick Road.
• Tuesday, October 10 – Meet & Greet Mixer & Social from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Stockdale Room.
• Wednesday, October 11 – Ally Rally: “What it Means to be an Ally for the LGBTQ+ Community” at 6 p.m. in the Stockdale Room.
• Thursday, October 12 – Expression Nights: “Coming Out Stories” at 7 p.m. in the Stockdale Room.
• Friday, October 13 – Movie Night: “Hocus Pocus” at 7 p.m. in Alumni Park.
• Thursday, October 19 – Pride Volleyball game at 7 p.m. at Icardo Center.
