BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to CalTrans there will be a full closure of Hwy 43 at Hwy 119 starting next week in Kern County.

Officials say the closure is apart of the Roundabout project construction.

If weather permits, CalTrans says Hwy 43 will be closed between Raceway Boulevard and State Route 119 starting June 11 into September.

Officials say there will be posted detours and signage indicating the closure in both directions.
