BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to Caltrans, Northbound I-5 has been reduced to one lane at the base of the Grapevine due to a big rig fire.

Expect delays in the area, approximate 2.5 mile backup currently.

There is no estimated time as to when this incident will be cleared.

Stay clear of the area.
