BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Caltrans reported that a part of Highway 223 is currently closed due to an overturned big rig in the road.
According to officials, on Tuesday the incident shutdown the highway between General Beale Road and Hwy 58. Officials also said a clean-up and removal operation are anticipated to last into late Tuesday afternoon.
Caltrans advised drivers to take alternate routes.
