Camp Fire death toll grows to 71

The death toll from the Camp Fire has grown to 71 people. The three wildfires burning across the state have scorched over 250,000 acres.

The Camp Fire has burned 148,000 acres and is currently 55% contained. 71 people have died, and 3 people have been injured in the fire. For a full list of road closures and evacuations, visit Cal Fire's website .

The Woolsey Fire has burned 98,362 acres and is currently 82% contained. 3 people have died, and 3 firefighters have been injured in the fire. For a full list of road closures and evacuations, visit Cal Fire's website .

The Hill Fire is 100% contained , according to an update from Cal Fire . The Hill Fire burned 4,531 acres in Ventura County. 4 structures were destroyed and 2 were damaged. According to the Cal Fire incident page , no one was injured or killed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to Cal Fire.
