We are now only 50 days away from the November election and Monday night the community of Arvin gathered to hear from the candidates running for office.
The Dolores Huerta foundation hosted the candidate forum in hopes of giving the community a chance to have their voices heard and ask questions about the issues that matter to them most.
“We are really happy that we are able to do these kinds of forums – for the last 15 years since we started the foundation but actually that people come and present themselves and also that the candidates show up, ” said activist Dolores Huerta.
The election is Tuesday, November 6th.
