Residents of Lamont and Weedpatch are invited to meet local candidates to help them prepare for Midterm Elections.
The candidate forum will feature candidates running for local districts, state assembly, state senate and Congress. The forum is on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David Head Center 10300 San Diego St. Lamont, CA 93241.
The forum is hosted by Dolores Huerta Foundation and the Vecinos Unidos (Neighbors United) Chapter of Lamont. Translation and childcare services will be provided.
Candidates running for office will present their views on a variety of topics including immigration, health care, school discipline, city infrastructure, to name a few.
The Dolores Huerta Foundation hopes to encourage people to vote in the 2018 Midterm Elections on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018.
