Lamont, Ca was home to the a candidate forum Tuesday evening hosted by the Dolores Huerta Foundation. 

Community members attended in order to be introduced to their candidates and listen to their proposals and the impact that they would make if elected. 

Inigo Bramo has been living in Lamont for over 30 years and says that every time election season comes around, the same types of promises are made.

He says he remains optimistic however, and was looking forward to engaging with the conversation. 

The Dolores Huerta Foundation says that registering voters is extremely important, but it is not their end game.

The foundation wants people to be knowledgeable about the issues being confronted, which makes events like this a crucial part of their quest.
