BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Per the Bakersfield Police Department, a collision occurred around 7:45 p.m. between a car and an unoccupied bus at the intersection of E. Belle Terrace and S. Mount Vernon.
The driver was on the bus but there were no students present.
The driver in the car was pinned in the vehicle but was successfully removed by the fire department, complaining only of minor pain.
