BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol says they have arrested a man in connection with a shooting on the 99 near McFarland on Thursday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Jesus Rojo Lopez from Delano was arrested in connection to the shooting. Lopez heard he was being sought in regards to the shooting and went to the Delano Police Department to "clear his name." After an investigation, he was arrested on two accounts of attempted murder.
