BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Authorities are on-scene after a car crashed into a telephone pole in Central Bakersfield.

The crash happened in the area of 23rd St. and C St. in Central Bakersfield. According to the Bakersfield Fire Department, the female driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Eastbound traffic from 23rd Street is being diverted onto 24th Street.
