Sparkling Images car washes in Bakersfield will be hosting their 8th annual fundraiser which benefits the Kern Environmental Education Program, also known as Camp KEEP.

Today, Friday September 22, 2017, Sparkling Images car wash will be supporting the program by donating 50 percent of the proceeds on every full service car wash to the KEEP Foundation. 

Almost 7,000 Kern County students make their way to camp every year. For five days students learn about science, nature and the importance of conservation. 

For many kids it's the first time they will be away from their parents. Camp KEEP also gives them a chance to learn a little more about themselves. 

In recent years, Sparkling Images car washes has donated more than $60,000 through the annual car wash that helps send kids with a financial need to camp. Just last year alone the car wash company raised over $13,000 for the camp.
