CASA's Superhero Run is going virtual this year

KERN COUNTY, Calif. — CASA Kern is hosting their annual Superhero Run from Oct. 1 through the 31, this year it will be virtual.

The run supports children in Kern County who've been abused or neglected.

"CASA speaks up for children by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. When the state steps in to protect a child’s safety, a judge appoints a trained CASA volunteer to make independent and informed recommendations in the child’s best interest."

There is a $5 early registration price, this price increases in October, so sign up by Sept. 30 to get the reduced price.

Packet pick-up begins Oct. 1 and happens every Thursday in October.

Packet pick up will be held outside the CASA of Kern County Office, 1717 Columbus Street with social distancing/mask guidelines in place.

A raffle will be held for a chance to win a BBQ grill, a smart TV, or a hotel stay/gift card bundle

Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.
