BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The FDA announced on Wednesday that it's investigating six California counties as the source of the current romaine lettuce outbreak, according to a report from CNN.
Previously, both the FDA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urged consumers not to eat any romaine lettuce, but now theyre urging the public to avoid eating romaine harvested from the following counties: Monterey, San Benito San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz and Ventura.
