The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and the U.S. Marshals have put Darrell Owney on top of their "Most Wanted" list.

Authorities say the search for Owney began late last month after the member of the East Side Crips removed his GPS tracking device.

Onwey, who has been served prison time for sex and weapons charges, is believed to be in the area near Beale Avenue and Baker Street. 

If you have any information that could lead to the arrest of Owney, you are urged to call 324-4004 and select option 3. A monetary reward could be earned if the suspect is arrested.

Owney is 6'2" and approximately 240 pounds.
