BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A local airman has graduated from basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Airman Page A. Thomas completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies.

Thomas is the son of Kenneth and Renata Thomas of Bakersfield. He is the brother of Dustin Thomas of Bakersfield, and nephew of Dawn McCormick of Phoenix, Arizona. He is the cousin of Austin McCormick of Scottsdale, Arizona.

The airman is a 2016 graduate of Centennial High School, Bakersfield.
