BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Chevron has awarded a $100,000 grant to Dignity Health Mercy and Memorial Hospitals to purchase Personal Protective Equipment for its healthcare workers.

Dignity Health made announcement in a press release Sunday, stating the "generous gift will help our hospitals acquire PPE that is vital for the safety of our physicians, nurses and ancillary staff as they care for those who need them most during this challenging time."
