BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A carjacking suspect is in custody after sending officials on a high-speed chase that ended in Castaic.
According to officials, the driver was in a involved in a carjacking in Exeter. Around 5:15 p.m., a Bakersfield CHP officer spotted the suspect speeding near Bear Mountain Boulevard. The official attempted to stop the driver but couldn't which led to the high-speed chase which was followed by a crash.
