CHP holding Start Smart class to help teens make better choices behind the wheel

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol is hosting a class to help teens make better choices behind the wheel.

Start Smart teaches teens tips for safe driving habits, the consequences of making poor choices behind the wheel and how to better avoid a crash.

The class will be held on Tuesday at the CHP office just off of Highway 99 and Taft Highway at 6 p.m. This is a free class but you have to register by calling (661) 396-6600.
