BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — CHP says that this year has been one of the deadliest years on the Grapevine, so to kick off their "Put the Brakes on Speed" campaign, they are hosting a press conference along the Grapevine portion of I-5 at Tejon Ranch Headquarters.
This comes after CHP recently received funding for a 12-month education and enforcement campaign which began on October 1 and will continue until September 30. The campaign will focus on enforcing violations of unsafe driving to educate motorists about the dangers of speeding.
The press conference will be held on Wednesday, December 12 at 10 a.m.
