UPDATE (Dec. 7, 2016, 2:22 p.m.): The coroner's office has identified Andres Vasquez Montoya as the man killed in a crash northwest of Lost Hills.

The 56-year-old Lost Hills resident was the restrained passenger of a vehicle that left the road and crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An exam is scheduled to determine his cause and manner of death.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash northwest of Lost Hills. 

The crash happened around 5:45 Sunday morning on Twissleman Road and King Road. 

Initial reports suggest that the vehicle rolled into the trees along the roadway.

It is unknown how many people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
